THE FOUNDER
Stephen Lee, PhD (in Law)

A former Senior Police Inspector, with 16 years services with the Royal Hong Kong Police (RHKP). In May 1992 Stephen left the RHKP under a special retirement scheme to facilitate constitutional change in HK before 1997. Stephen specialized in the field of Protective Security and worked as bodyguard to two HK Governors and many visiting dignitaries when they were visiting HK in the 1980s.


Before joining Abbott Laboratories (89th on the Fortune 500), Stephen worked in Lucent Technologies as corporate security manager for Asia Pacific Region. In January 2004 Stephen joined Abbott Laboratories as regional security director for Asia Pacific and Australia.


Stephen has a Doctorate Degree in Chinese Law at the Renmin (People’s) University, Beijing, P.R. China (RUC), a Master’s Degree in Language and Law (MALL – Legal Drafting and Translation) and a Bachelor of Laws Degree (LLB (Hons)).

In January 2000 Stephen was awarded the Ten Outstanding Lifelong Learner Award in the First Lifelong Learning Festival held in Hong Kong.

  • Conducted 18 Crisis Action Team (CAT) Training & Tabletop Exercises in the Region

  • Conducted 3 Food Defense Assessment in Nutrition manufacturing plants in the region

  • Established 6 Evacuation Preparedness Plans (EEP) in the region 

​

  • Conducted 4 Kidnap and Ransom (KRE) Training in the region

​

  • Planned and executed 16 major security event and Executive Protection in the region
